I made this pattern because of the frustration of losing my eye glasses all the time. Aside form keeping your eye glasses secure, this can also be used as pen holder, or any small things that get lost easily.
For this particular project, use #8 mercerized thread to obtain the perfect size that fits your eye glasses snugly. One ball of #8 Monaco mercerized thread would make 3 pieces of this project (sans lanyard) but if you are fancy and wants to add string, one ball of this thread would make up to 2 of this project.

Blocking your piece is optional but it’s recommended for a prettier piece.
