A warm cap to knit in three sizes (S/M/L) that will be much appreciated by any family member when the cold winds blow. Simple cable crosses in a vertical pattern create a neat, modern motif that is engaging to knit and delicious to wear. Knit in a round tightly twisted yarn for crisp stitch definition and a snug fit; for a softer texture and fit, work in a relaxed yarn or fiber blend. May be worked with a shorter, single brim (instructions included).

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement; sizing may be adjusted by using needles one size up (looser fit) or down (tighter fit)

Samples shown are size M (hers) and size L (his) in special edition Bare Naked Wools Kent Aran, color Mussell Shell

Matching Motifs: Eye of the Needle Mittens, Eye of the Needle Cowl

Yardage requirement for sizes S/M/L: 150(200, 250) yards as shown with double brim
Note: single brim option reduces the yardage by approximately 50 yards
