A hefty cabled neckwarmer to knit in two sizes (S/L) is just the thing to fill an open collar when cold winds blow. Simple cable crosses in a vertical pattern create a neat, modern motif that is engaging to knit and delicious to wear. Knit in a round, tightly twisted yarn for crisp stitch definition and a snug fit; for a softer texture and fit, work in a relaxed yarn or fiber blend. Sizing is easily adjusted to use a larger skein of yarn (see pattern notes).

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement; sizing may be adjusted by using needles one size up (looser fit) or down (tighter fit)
