What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice)
15g DK yarn for the base/column (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 489 ‘Tangerine’)
5-10g DK yarn for the top (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 350 ‘Spicy Pink’)
10-15g DK yarn for the tentacles (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 242 ‘Flamenco’)
Oddment of yarn for the mouth (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 486 ‘Peek a Boo’) optional
5g white DK yarn for eyeballs/inner mouth (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 251 ‘White’)
Polyfil toy stuffing
2 plastic toy safety eyes (6mm)
2 small discs of cardboard or thin plastic
1 tapestry needle for finishing
