Inspiration comes from many places for me as an artist, sometimes it’s a texture or color palette, a picture or collection of imagery from life, other times it’s a finished work from another artist or designer, and sometimes it’s just an abstract concept floating around in my head.

With this design I was inspired to make a lace version of another design (3D Crochet Bow by Aniqua Wilkerson of My Kinda Thing), but that still was sturdy enough to retain it’s shape without stiffening the fabric.

Adorn your favorite accessories with a cute little eyelet bow. Use it on your favorite hat or headband, purse, or even a hair clip!

Gauge is not important, just be sure to use a hook that matches the yarn you are using. You can easily change the size of your bow by altering the yarn weight & hook size (including working with multiple strands). Err on the side of a smaller hook to get a nice, firm fabric.
