Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Summer 2006: “Small buttons, short fitted sleeves, and crocheted edgings give this simple summer top a vintage look. A narrow ribbon tie defines the empire waist and separates the bodice, worked in a cloverleaf pattern, from a deep rib scored with columns of fagot lace. The top is worked in a linen yarn that will soften and drape with repeated washings.”

Finished Size: 31 (34½, 38, 41½, 44¾)“ bust circumference.

Yarn: Louet Sales Euroflax 4-Ply Linen (100% linen; 270 yd 247 m/100 g): #18 sandlewood, 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) skeins.

Needles: Size 3 (3.25 mm): 32” circular (cir) and double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Size D/3 (3.25 mm) crochet hook; stitch holders; tapestry needle; ten 5/8” buttons; sharp-point sewing needle and matching thread; 2 yd ¼“ wide ribbon.

Notes:
