I designed this Eyelet Lace Crochet Edging to add a simple and elegant lace to clothing, handkerchiefs, napkins, or blankets. This pattern has the instructions written out as well as a chart diagram.

I just saw the cover of Kristen Omdahl’s new book The Finer Edge: Crocheted Trims, Motifs, and Borders which was published in January 2013, which shows a crocheted lace trim quite similar to, if not exactly like this Eyelet Lace Trim I designed and published on my blog on October 5, 2012. I was not involved in the publication of Kristen Omdahl’s book, nor was I approached for use of my design for her book.
