A sweet little ornament to brighten your holidays – with options to make a Fanny or a Fritz (he’s a reindeer, distant cousin to Rudolph). Hang them on your tree or a door or anywhere you please. A quick and cute project to knit as gifts, and small enough to use up some leftovers, that’s my idea of a perfect holiday project. Enjoy!

Samples knit in DK and fingering weight, but you can use whatever weight yarn you have. Pattern used ~15g of MC in the DK version and less than 10g of MC in the fingering weight version. Small amounts of CC yarn is needed, as well as anything you’d like to use to embellish your Fa-La-La.

Fritz used a few more CC’s - he was knit in brown, with CC’s of red, black, white and beige.

I used DPN’s, but you can use Magic loop or 2 circ’s if you prefer. I recommend using a needle 2 sizes smaller than what s recommended on the ball band, but it may vary depending on how tight you knit.
