Fabled Forest is a beautiful heavy worsted/aran weight hat worked in the round from the bottom up with an interesting shape, simple lace motifs and fun, textural details like a seed stitch crown and optional pom poms.

The Fabled Forest Lace pattern is easy to memorize and creates a snug fitting hat with lots of room to stretch!

Charts and written instructions are available for your convenience. This pattern has been fully tech edited and tested by my fabulous team of testers!

Sizes: Baby (Child, Adult)

Finished Measurements: 13” (15, 17)” wide/6” (7, 8)” tall; (unstretched, after blocking) Worn with 3-5” negative ease. The lace pattern is very stretchy and will easily accommodate a variety of head sizes.

Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted (100% wool, 210 yards per 100 g skein); 1 skein all sizes. Shown in Cuarzo, Taureg, Lettuce.

Yarn yardages: approx. 110 (155, 205) yds

Needles: 5mm/US size 8 needles* (for working a small circumference in the round: DPNs, 1 long circ magic loop, or 2 short circs)
