Fade to Dusk is a slouchy striped hat. The ribbing at the bottom is twice as thick as the top of the hat to keep your ears extra warm. But don’t worry, no double knitting is needed!

  • Stripes: 1 set of A Hundred Ravens Mini-Skeins (Shown in “Into Darkness”) approx. 400 yds/365 m (approx. 57 yds/52 m of each color)
  • Main color: 1 skein of A Hundred Ravens Iachos (Shown in “Dark Mockingjay”) approx. 400 yds
  • US 3/3.25mm 16” circular (or size to obtain gauge)
  • US 3/3.25mm double pointed needles (dpns)(or size to obtain gauge)
  • Darning needle

Gauge
7 sts to 1 inch in stockinette stitch
Row gauge irrelevant as the length of the hat is determined by inch/cm measurements, not by rnds.

Sizes
Use measuring tape to measure around head where the brim of the hat will sit (like a headband, around forehead, over ears, & at base of head)
