An asymmetrical shawl in monochromatic colours worked sideways.

Grey is one of my favourite colours. You don’t need 50 shades of grey to be convinced, that grey isn’t just grey, but in fact a varied and very interesting colour.

This shawl is made in a small variety of grey colours, from a very dark, almost black grey to a light, almost white grey, carefully blending into each other.

Finished measurements:
from side to side 220 cm / 87 inches
from top to bottom at deepest point 50 cm / 20 inches

Yarn:
Fingering weight.
The sample was knit using Madeline Tosh Merino Light (384 m/100 g) in colour Onyx, Dirty Panther, Leopard, Charcoal, Tern, Great Grey Owl, Astrid Grey, Silver Fox, and Farmhouse White, in different yardage, in all approx. 750 m.

Gauge:
20 sts and 36 row = 10 cm in garter stitch.
Needle size 4.0 mm.
