Ganseys or guernseys are a wonderful classic from knitting history, but the real thing is heavy, hot and not created for the female form. In this version, the guernsey motifs fade out on the left front.
It’s is made from a lightweight tweed to keep its rustic appeal, slightly fitted and updated for practicality with a zipper. The neon edging is sheer fun.
It’s knit with a bottom-up, contiguous technique. This ensures a perfect fit around the shoulders. The knit collar is ribbed.
