Designer Notes: “For this design, I wanted to capture the classic styling of the traditional Shetland Fair Isle yoke sweater in the heathered, natural shades of the autumn landscape. I blew up the scale of a typical Shetland sweater, deconstructed it to just the patterned yoke, and translated it into a tweedy, marled yarn in the vegetable-dyed colors of dried fields and fallen leaves. Then I made a pair of unfinished sleeves, or gauntlets, to wear with it.” --Michele Rose Orne
