A Christmas stocking with stranded knitting at the top, in a simple 6-stitch repeat pattern . . knit flat and seamed, with standard heel flap and gusset construction, using short rows for the heel turn and a standard grafted toe.

Pattern offers the option of either stranded knitting or duplicate stitch for the snowflake accent.
