Now for something a little different!
This fun pattern is to knit a fairground pony trophy that you would place on a wall or hook onto a door as a room decoration.

I have to admit it’s quite a small challenge as it is all knitted as one piece with no seams - you just sew on the ears. It is then machine felted and re-shaped by hand.

There are options to knit a larger one than the ones I did by using larger gauge yarn and needles - I have made one from super chunky polar yarn & have started new group relating to these crazy heads!! - http://www.ravelry.com/groups/talking-knitted-heads & posted it on there)- it’s twice the size of the ones photographed (which are 5 ins high x 7 ins wide - from tip of muzzle to back shaping!

Have fun with yarn colours and trimmings - and they don’t take long either - I would say a day - yes - A DAY!

P.S many ask from whence do I get my toy eyes from - well here - suncatchereyes.com - fab range and they post to anywhere in the world (I think!)
