A modern interpretation of mittens knitted by Mum for my sister and I when we were young. They are designed for speedy knitting when fingers need urgent warming. Instructions are given for working in both aran and DK weight yarns and a top down construction gives an elegant finish to fingertips and thumb. Named for the corner of the Isle of Wight where we made our family home.
