The Fairy Ring Socks are knitted top-down in the round with sizes for kids and adults.

The main yarn used for this design is a non-superwash wool reinforced with nylon for durability. If you wish to substitute yarn, I recommend choosing something with similar reinforcing fibre for the longevity of your socks.

How to Choose Your Size
Stranded colourwork is not as stretchy as plain knitting, so choose a size close to your actual ankle circumference. The length of the socks is customisable, but if your foot is significantly longer than the length quoted for your size, please bear in mind you will need extra yarn.

Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4)(5, 6, 7, 8)

To Fit: baby (toddler, child, teen)(S adult, M adult, L adult, XL adult)

Sock Circumference – ankle and foot

Foot Length
4¾ (6, 7¼, 8¼)(9½, 10½, 11¾, 12¾) inches / 12 (15, 18.5, 21)(24, 26.5, 30, 32) cm

Gauge
30 sts and 44 rounds = 4 inches / 10 cm measured over stranded colourwork, knitted in the round, after blocking

Gauge-size needles, suggested size: 2mm
Needles one size larger than gauge, suggested size: 2.25mm

Note: You will need 1 long circular needle if you prefer to use the magic loop technique, or you may prefer to use double-pointed needles (DPNs).

Notions
