The idea behind this design is a Fall Wood with all its colours and textures:
Section 1 Different kinds of trees and their branches (leaves in stockinette and branches in garter stitch)
Section 2 Fall Sun
Section 3 Fallen leaves on the ground (the ground in stockinette and the leaves in garter stitch)
Section 4 Green bushes and bind off in contrasting colour.

This is my colour combination, however you may choose your favourite one, like the colours of sky and sea in cold season, the colours of earth and crops, or all the way round and choose poppy floral colours.

Measures after blocking
Width: 41 cm / 16 inches
Length: 135 cm / 53 inches

I used Chickadee from Quince and co in solid colours, about 200 gr in the following shades:
Colour A: Sedum 13 gr ( 46,16 meters – 47,06 yards)
Colour B: Bark 19 gr ( 63,08 meters – 68,78 yards)
Colour C: Gingerbread 19 gr (63,08 meters – 68,78 yards)
Colour D: Barolo 46 gr (152,72 meters – 166,52 yards)
Colour E: Honey 34 gr (112,88 meters – 123,08 yards)
Colour F: Camel 29 gr (96,28 meters – 104,98 yards)
Colour G: Marsh 35 gr (116,2 meters – 126,7 yards)

However, this is a great design to use yarn from your stash, add speckled yarn, etc. or even change to fingerling yarn.

Therefore, other suggested yarns might be:

Arroyo by Malabrigo Yarns
Rios by Malabrigo Yarns
Sock by Malabrigo Yarns

Heritage from DMC

Lima / Karisma by DROPS

No swatch is required for this project, but changes in the yarn might result in a different yardage or needle requirement, or in a different size of the final object.

Stitch count is provided along the written instructions.
