False creek is an inlet at the heart of the Vancouver, surrounded by the Seawall; a linear park which celebrates the city’s connection to the sea. Ice cream, dog walking, sun bathing, a farmers market all within minutes of your yuppie condo - this is why Vancouver is consistently voted one of the most liveable cities in the world.
If you’re a new knitter and in need of a quick project this zippy little button scarf is an opportunity to learn about reading charts and very basic lace stitches. Knit in a super-bulky yarn, it works up very quickly, and makes a perfect gift.
sizing: 9 inches tall by 26 inches long - One size fits all; but if you knit this bulky bad-boy in a slightly thicker or thinner yarn, or with slightly bigger or smaller needles, the finished size will vary.
materials: 90 yds super bulky weight yarn (8-10 sts/4”) (we used Malabrigo Rasta in ‘63-natural’)
Gauge: 9 sts / 4” (in stockinette stitch)
Needles: US #15 / 10 mm (or as required to meet gauge)
