Tofino Surfer - by Alexa Ludeman

Tofino, BC is the place to surf and be seen on the western shore of Vancouver Island. The town is full of hippies and tourists in the summer, everyone trying to get on a board and show their stuff (most of us inexperienced individuals looking more like floundering seals than sleek gods of the water). Of course, beach fashion cannot be ignored in this environment. It is crucial to look cool after hitting the waves, right? Surfing north of the 49th means wet suits in August so apres surf a warm toque is needed by the beach bonfire!

The Tofino Surfer toque can be a simple beanie or slouchy hat or you can add all the bells and whistles: eaflaps, tassels, and pompoms - whatever your groove is.
