Afghan is made from 59 motifs and 12 half motifs, arranged as shown in Assembly Diagram. Fill edging is worked across the long inner edge of each row. Neighboring motifs are joined together as the edging is worked, to form strips. The strips are then sewn together.

Two different edgings are part of the design of this Afghan. The side edging is worked in sc, the top and lower edging in rev sc. If you prefer, you can omit the rev sc and work sc around all edges.
