From the website: I used a variation of this stitch in a doily that I designed for a contest. Recently, someone asked if I could design a cross bookmark. This design for the bookmark came to me in the middle of the night. It’s only 2 rounds of crocheting. You might want to use a “sticky note” to keep your place as you go.
