This Flannel is a beautiful gift idea for any occasion. Made using the corner to corner technique, with a contrasting edging it is delicate and fancy. Made with 100% cotton it is soft on skin and can be washed again and again.

Any 100% cotton yarn can be used, above is simply what I used. Please note that if you use a lighter weight of yarn (DK/4ply) you may end up with a smaller flannel. You will need a 50g ball of your primary colour, and 10g for your edging colour.

This pattern is available in both British and American terminology. UK terminology is used primarily, US terminology is in Square Brackets.

This can be made to any sizes and the pattern instructs on how to do so.

Gauge is not important for this pattern, you will simply end up with a bigger, or smaller, flannel dependant on your natural tension.
