Fancy Frock Coat
by Susanna K. Burger

FROCK: (From the Oxford American Dictionary) 1)A women’s or girl’s dress. 2) A loose outer garment, in particular a long gown with flowing sleeves, worn by monks, priest, or clergy. 3) A field laborers smock.

This Fancy Frock Coat is a women’s thigh length, top-down seamless raglan coat with bell sleeves and cables at the waist and wrist, knit in DK yarn. Lace is worked in fingering yarn at the bottom of the hem and sleeves.

Shaping is accomplished by changing needle sizes, and stitch increases.
