This is a pattern-tutorial to teach how to apply a sideways knitted edge to a square center. Learn how to use a simple border to turn a simple garter square into a fancy schmancy lacy dishcloth, or apply to a larger sized piece to create a placemat, a washcloth, a small towel, or a shawlette as desired.
Instructions given for now in installments in the author’s blog, and at the end of the run will be compiled into a pattern.
Will also include step by step instructions to create a finished dishcloth as shown in the picture without doing the math :)
