Choose seven colors of DK weight yarn to knit this circular blanket. Cast on in the center and increase outward as you work simple stripes and graphic slip stitch motifs. The colorful stripes and textured stitches make the knitting very addicting as you look forward to each new section. The pattern is written for seven colors, but you can use as many shades as you like. Choose between a smaller size for a cozy lap blanket or knit epic large size for a bedspread or knitted work of art for your couch.

A variety of DK and worsted weight yarns or fingering weight held double including West Wool Tandem, De Rerum Natura Gilliatt, La Bien Aimée Merino Aran, Qing Fibre Melted Baby Suri held together with a coordinating color of fingering weight wool.

This blanket is great for using your stash yarn. Create a unique color palette by mixing different types of yarn together. If you run out of yarn, it’s okay to use other shades of yarn throughout the blanket that reflect your color palette. Get creative and dive into your stash. Two strands of fingering weight yarn produce a DK weight thickness. DK and worsted weight yarns work great for this blanket. I used a variety of DK and worsted weight yarns for my small size blanket.

If you are using West Wool Tandem, you will need these skein amounts for the Small & Large Size.
