Farmhouse is a cosy shawl you hang on a peg by the kitchen door so you can wrap it around your shoulders on early mornings as you head out to gather eggs from the hens or on chilly evenings as you sit on the porch, watching the sun set over the fields.

It’s a big, soft embrace of lightweight warmth. It’s simple to knit because I’m all about simple … and it has fringe. I love fringe!

This pretty little farmhouse was the inspiration for this design.

Notes |

Farmhouse requires approximately 840 yards total of worsted weight wool. Sample is knit with 5 skeins of Shelter Fossil (MC) for shawl and fringe and 1 skein of Shelter Woodsmoke (CC) added to the fringe for an accent of colour.
