All photos taken at Rhinebeck this year. Thanks, Stefanie and Elizabeth! And extra special thanks to the farmstand in question, where we found some of the greatest Granny Smith apples I have ever had!
This, like my cooking recipes, is more about the technique behind the recipe than a specific command. You can apply the striping method and the steeks to just about any pullover pattern you you like. It’s all in how you place the color changes. (If you start from another cardigan pattern, your color stripes will need to be 2 rows each unless you use multiple balls of yarn, which will ruin the gradient effect). Includes steek tutorial!
Suggestion: pair the solid base color yarn with Noro Silk Garden instead…the gradients will have extra visual texture because of the silk content!
