ANYONE who can knit at all can tackle this jumper. Back and front are alike, and there isn’t even any armhole shaping — those fascinating little sleeves are set in flat, and the ribbing in which they are knitted is pressed out at the edges to achieve that light-hearted flare.
Materials:
5 ozs. of Paton’s Super Scotch Fingering, 3-ply.
A pair No. 11, a pair No. 8 “Beehive” needles (Old UK).
12 white ball buttons.
Measurements:
- Bust, 34 inches; length, 18 inches.
- Bust, 36 inches; length, 19 inches. For size 2 follow directions given in brackets (thus).
Tension: 6½ stitches to an inch.
