My teenager kept asking me to make him a Rockin’ beanie. I asked him “What’s a rockin’ beanie?” So one day He showed me, and I just had to figure out how to make one for him. The more the rows, and the more the hat hangs off the back of the head, the more rockin’ it is. This pattern starts out as a simple beanie, that you can personalize to be a “rockin’” beanie, or a striped beanie, whatever you wish.

I have used several different types of yarn while writing this pattern, and have found Lamb’s Pride Bulky to be my total fav. My son also likes how it keeps his head warm under his ski helmet, and isn’t too bulky.

Just like the title. This Beanie is very fast and very easy for anyone that knows how to work in the round, double crochet, and change yarn colors. You can easily whip up a hat in an hour.
You can easily make 2 hats out of 1 skein of 190 yards of yarn.

If you need any help at all, please let me know.
