This cardigan is worked flat on two needles from the bottom up.
The fronts and back are worked in one piece to the split for sleeves, they are then worked separately with stitches being put on holders for the neckband.
Sleeves are knitted separately and sewn in place at the end. There is a choice of garter or seed stitch borders.

The cardigan has 5 cm/2 inches of positive ease included.
Yarn Note: The pattern is best suited for sports weight to lighter DK yarns.

Are not sure whether to make the cardigan for a girl or boy?
Then follow then make the buttonholes for both, and simply sew the buttons over the buttonhole that is not needed later.

I hope you enjoy making this cardigan for the little people in your lives too!
