Fat Bottom Bats

Knitting
October 2013
Fingering (14 wpi) ?
32 stitches and 38 rows = 4 inches
in stockinette stitch
US 1 - 2.25 mm
10 - 20 yards (9 - 18 m)
one size

Tiny bats to fill your belfry! These really can be made with any leftover yarn. Fingering weight will create a bat about 1” x 3.5”. Gauge is not important, but you will want a nice, firm fabric to keep the stuffing in.

Additional materials:
Small bit of stuffing - yarn scraps work well
Off-white embroidery thread or yarn for teeth
Two red eyes - small beads are perfect
