This pattern is the result of requests from ladies in the Cantonese-speaking knitting group meeting in the Kwun Tong Swatow Baptist Church, when they saw me knitting it. Without their encouragement, this pattern would have never happened.

This design is also a perfect next step project in learning brioche knitting. It is narrow, has only 3 brioche stitches beyond the basic brioche rib, uses large yarn, and provides lots of practice.

Choose 2 colors, one light and one dark.

This scarf can be made in DK, worsted or even aran weight yarn, and it can be made any length, though yarn quantities needed will be affected.

The sample scarf dimensions are: 122cm or 48” long, 18 cm or 7” wide, after blocking.

Special thanks to nancyhill11 and novjnj for their speedy and excellent test knitting help.
