The patterning of the mitts happens due to the yarn--it is much simpler than it appears. Why do the work if the yarn will do the work for you?? Uses less than one skein of a self-patterning yarn, such as Yarn Bee Fair Isle (available at Hobby Lobby).

The pattern uses a single strand of yarn, so it is written for a loom with 3/8” gauge. CinDWood loom with 36 pegs was used for sample.

This is a simple pattern that uses mainly U-knit. It also uses Purl, Ewrap, and Slip Stitch.
