Description from book:

“Dogs with short fur will appreciate this faux fur coat during the chillier months. The yarn is held doubled to make the coat extra plush and oh so glamorous. Take care when choosing a size: this yarn makes an extremely stretchy fabric! To ensure a good fit, finished sizes are given in an already stretched state. Use these measurements to determine the right size for your dog, rather than by knitting a swatch to check the gauge. The sweater will stretch more in width than length, so if you wish to make the sweater longer, keep this in mind. If the coat is too stretchy around the neck, you can crochet a single row of stitches with the same yarn for a closer fit.”

This sweater is knit in two flat pieces--back and front. Yarn is held doubled without.
