It’s not a lace actually, and it’s not a crochet bonnet! This bonnet is knitted in a simple and very textured stitch pattern and using a crochet yarn, which altogether give a fabulous lace effect. However, the bonnet can be worked out with any other yarn, the texture in Star Stitch looks clear and really unusual.

Basic crochet knowledge is needed for finishing and making a border. You will also need a silk ribbon and two fabric flowers for the embellishment.

The bonnet compliments Sleeveless Bolero (available for free since June 2011).

The pattern contains detailed written instructions and the link to video on the main stitch pattern.
