This delightful baby sweater uses one of the most popular lace patterns: Feather and Fan. Because the lace works at a tighter gauge than stockinette, you will knit the lace pattern on a larger needle. The fronts and backs are worked as one piece to the underarms, and all edges are finished with a neat garter-stitch border.

Yarn: Sheep Shop Yarn’s Sheep Three, 70% wool/30% silk, 3.5 oz (100 g)/ 325 yds (297 m), Color F59

Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) straight and double-point needles and US 5 (3.75 mm) straight needles or size you need to obtain correct gauge

Other Supplies: Stitch holder, three 3/8” (1 cm) buttons, tapestry needle
