Our designer, Fran, loves a cowl that fits snugly over her head and around her neck. She also wants just the right amount of flair at the shoulders. What if this perfect little cowl could be made from just one skein of our luxurious Cashmere Cloud? This is THAT cowl and best of all, it is easy enough to be your first lace project.

Yarn: 1 skein Fidalgo Artisan Yarn’s Cashmere Cloud (65% Cashmere, 35% Cultivated Silk, 50g = 221 yds).

Needles and Notions: US 6 (4.0mm) 24-inch and 16-inch circular needle or size to obtain gauge, 12 stitch markers, tapestry needle.

Gauge: 18 stitches = 4 inches in stitch pattern when blocked.

Finished Blocked Measurement: Approximately 31-inch circumference at the bottom, 19 inches at the top and 11 inches deep.

Pattern Notes: This is a simple, one-row lace pattern worked from the bottom up. Change to smaller circular needle when neck opening gets too small to work comfortably.
