Don’t let the menswear coloring fool you. These socks are all girl. Lacy cable ribs — mirrored on either sock — complement the wide center front panel of feathery lace, giving this feminine beauty a great fit with a good amount of stretch.

Knit from the toe up, the lace patterns are made up of simple yarn-overs and decreases. Directions are written for working two-at-a-time on one circular needle, but can easily be adapted to Magic Loop or DPNs. Pattern is charted.

While the lace design shows best in a solid or nearly solid yarn, a low-contrast variegated yarn works well without obscuring the pattern.
