Feather Pullover has a seamless, top-down construction, with short rows used to raise the back of the neck, and yoke increases incorporated in the stitch pattern. The body is shaped by changing needle size, and its length can be easily adjusted. The garment can be made sleeveless or with sleeves, and the pattern will work both in wool and cotton.
Ostrich Plumes lace is easier to knit than it looks - you only work the lace pattern every 4th round, the remaining rounds being plain stockinette stitch. Worsted yarn and large needle size make Feather Pullover a surprisingly fast knit.

This garment requires careful blocking. Use yarn that blocks well.

Materials
Yarn:
Worsted weight smooth yarn with good stitch definition, that blocks well - 100% wool, cotton or wool blend with natural fibres, e.g. silk. Acrylic blends with wool or cotton are not suitable - they will not hold blocking.
All sizes: worsted (aran) yarn with St st gauge on yarn label = 18 sts per 10 cm/ 4 in. Size 80 cm/ 31.5 in can also use lighter worsted yarn, with St st gauge on yarn label = 20 sts per 10 cm/ 4 in.
The sample was knit in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran (55% merino wool, 33% microfibre, 12% cashmere, col. 037, 90 m/ 99 yds per 50g).
