This sweater is based on the “February Baby Sweater” by Elizabeth Zimmermann. The construction has been changed in order to work on such a small scale. I highly recommend you pick up a copy of Knitter’s Almanac in which the original pattern is published. You will not regret it, and will soon find yourself knitting lots of baby sweaters. You can also find the adult sized “February Lady Sweater” online and on ravelry.

Make One (m1) is best accomplished with a backwards loop cast on, you may also lift and twist the bar inbetween the stitches.
