This box is knit in the round using two strands of yarn held together in different color combinations throughout the project. The framework features a sturdy base, corner, and top edge construction. The stitch patterns not only create a dense fabric but also provide for easier shaping after the felting process. This box can stand alone or fit around a 6-inch square vase. Project starts at center bottom on dpns and graduates to circular needle as number of stitches increase.

Gauge: not critical as box is felted to desired size.
NOTE: choose animal-fiber yarn that has NOT been superwashed.
