Note on Yarn: For the stocking to felt properly, you must use 100% non-superwash wool. I used Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Bulky in these colors: Wine, Lumberjack, and Silver.
STRIPED STOCKING, THREE COLORS: 65 grams each of the two striping colors, and 45 grams of the accent color (used on the cuff/toe/heel). I bought one hank of each of the three colors, with plenty left over.
SOLID STOCKING, TWO COLORS: 130 grams of the main color, and 45 grams of the accent color (used on the cuff/toe/heel). For a two color stocking, you will need two hanks of the main color, and one hank of the accent color.
