This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Brenda Harris.

These slippers are fun to do and take very little time. One slipper can be knit in a couple of hours. The entire slipper is knit flat in Garter Stitch (knit every row). One seam joins the two side flaps to form the top. Included in the pattern are full instructions for how to felt using a top-loading washing machine. There are three sizes available, and once you’ve knit a couple pairs you’ll be able to easily modify the pattern to fit any size foot!

Sizes available:
Women’s medium: US shoe size 6-7.5
Women’s large: US shoe size 8-9.5
Men’s large: US shoe size 10-12

Materials required:
240 (300, 360) meters of 100% wool in worsted weight. The yarn is used DOUBLED throughout the pattern
8mm knitting needles
Darning needle
Stitch markers (optional)

PLEASE NOTE: the yarn you choose MUST be 100% wool, not superwash, as these clog-style slippers are felted after knitting. If the yarn you choose is not 100% wool, they will not felt properly (different animal fibres also felt at different rates, so 100% alpaca or angora or mohair, etc., yarn will not felt the same as 100% wool).
