this is so much fun to knit those…. just done with short rows and some sewing at the end prior to felting.

Be careful when casting off - do it VERY loosely.
When you sew the pieces together it should lay flat (not bowl-like)
If it comes out of the washing machine like bowl - use your iron to steam it flat
