Felted Eyelash Cat Bed with Cushion

8 stitches = 4 inches in garter st using 2 strands of wool and larger needles
US 13 - 9.0 mm
US 8 - 5.0 mm
18" x 13" x 3" high after felting

The trim on this felted cat bed is knit with one strand of wool and one strand of eyelash yarn held together.

Warning: If you have kittens or cats that eat strings, do not make this bed with eyelash yarn. Instead, use a faux-fur yarn that does not have long strings. Cats can sustain serious intestinal injuries and even die from eating strings.

Yarn requirements:
5 balls of Plymouth Galway Worsted (100% wool; 210 yds/100g per ball) color 150 (red
2 balls of Plymouth Colorlash (100% polyester; 220 yds/50 g) color 8 (red)

Polyester fiberfill needed for stuffing the cushion.
