Milena and Danielle patterns are available in the Amipoderosas eBook, which, also, features 8 more professions: lawyer, engineer, merchant marine, lifeguard, biomedical scientist, sergeant, mailwoman and master builder!

Amipoderosas is a PDF EBOOK ONLY, which aims to
amplify representativeness and empowerment by Amigurumis!

One of our goals is to improve inclusion and representativeness through these dolls and that’s why EACH profession has TWO body patterns. As well, some dolls have specific characteristics as vitiligo, down syndrome and colostomy bag. Once you learned how to do it, you may reproduce it in any of the other dolls.

Moreover, all the hair styles and heads are interchangeable between the amigurumis. Also, you may use wire to make them poseable and we added detailed instructions of how to do a wire skeleton for the dolls. Their heads are moveable without wire and they may turn to any side you want. There are many clothe styles, accessories and hairs and you may interchange them between the dolls.

Working in a profession dominated by men and showing that they can do the same things has never been easy for Danielle and Milena. Since they were little, these two friends grew up by the sea, their parents were fishermen and the love for the sea was innate. During adolescence, the two friends went to live in the city and ended up having different dreams. Danielle wanted to be an architect, and Milena wanted to be a lawyer. But, after meeting again during the holidays, these girls ended up attending a Lifeguard course that was being taught to other people that day.

After spending the entire morning closely watching the classes, instructions and all that exciting atmosphere, the two took the initiative to go talk to the person in charge, as they were very excited to learn more about that profession. During an extremely thought-provoking conversation, the two started to go back to the classes every day, since the course had 20 classes in total. Each day they got closer to the certainty of what they were feeling. They made the decision together to follow the Lifeguard career. They knew that it would be a difficult path, that they would suffer prejudice for being women with a short stature and because many consider that they do not have the strength of a man. But they also knew that they could do the same thing as all of them and even better.

Following this path was not easy for the two, who had to take a very rigorous course.
But now actually studying and not just curious about it, they came to understand that in addition to promoting risk prevention on the beaches, the psychological and physical burden is also something to be trained every day. They both knew that it would not be an easy path, but that it would be worth all their efforts. Although still seen by some people as fragile women, Danielle and Milena remain strong and show that they are capable of anything, and each day they conquer and inspire more admirers who want to follow the same path as the two, thus popularizing the profession of Female Lifeguard.
