These easy-going garter cuffs and fingerless mitts are quick to make and more useful than you’d ever thought! Keep them in your purse for those days when you need just a bit of extra warmth. Choose between simple cuffs and fingerless mitts - or make both!

Size:

One size, without thumbhole (with thumbhole)

Finished measurements:

Length: 5.5 (6.5)” / 14 (16.5) cm Circumference: 5 (6)” / 12.5 (15) cm

Yarn:

approx. 100 (110) yd / 90 (100) m of fingering-weight yarn
samples shown in Hazel Knits Artisan Sock, colourway Vamp (without thumbhole) and Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light, colourway Rainwater (with thumbhole)

Gauge:

23 sts and 48 rows = 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking

Needles:

Size 3 US / 3.25 mm DPNs or circular needles

Adjust needle size if necessary to get the right gauge. Gauge is not crucial with this project but will affect yardage and finished size.
