These lacy socks are constructed toe-up and come in two sizes: Medium, which fits shoe sizes 6.5 to 7.5; and Large, which fits sizes 8 to 9. They are designed to fit regular to narrow width feet. Some testers found them too narrow for their feet, so these are perfect if you have trouble with socks being too wide for you!

Made in cotton-blend worsted/aran weight yarn, they are quick to knit up, and nice & cool on your feet! Make sure to choose a stretchy yarn, so probably at least 40% “blend” in your cotton-blend. You will want these to have a good amount of stretch.

Note that the heel is very short, typical of toe-up socks. While these fit most people just fine, if you have extra deep arches, this may not be the pattern for you.

Materials:

  • worsted/aran weight (size 4) yarn, about 156 – 186 yards
  • circular needles, size US 7 (4.50mm), or DPNs if you prefer
