The Fern Lace Beanie is knit using a branch like lace motif to evoke the natural beauty of fern foliage. This is a great piece to knit for the fall or spring season, it is effectively warm, while appearing effortlessly light and elegant. Structurally, this beanie is knit in the round, bottom up. Decreases are used to create a mandala like pattern at the crown of the hat. You can easily substitute any worsted weight yarn for this pattern, as long as the gauge requirements are met.
